About Founder

I’m Khushbhu Kalbeliya (Sapera Jogi Nath), a yoga teacher, activist, and advocate for justice. As someone with Adivasi Kalbeliya heritage and Western roots, I bring my lived experiences and deep respect for tradition to my work. I founded Adivasi Yoga to explore the intersection of yoga, human rights, ethics, politics, and environmentalism.

My mission is to challenge the systems of oppression embedded in modern yoga and South Asian society, including Brahminism, patriarchy, caste apartheid, and colonialism. We warmly invite you to reflect on how power structures, privilege, and the fast-paced, profit-driven world have influenced yoga’s journey. Together, we center Dalit Bahujan and Adivasi voices, creating space for meaningful conversations and shared understanding.

For me, yoga is about more than inward reflection—it’s a practice of liberation, deeply engaged with the world. If you’d like to know more about my journey and teachings, read my full bio here.
