ABOUT

About Khushbhu Kalbeliya (Sapera Jogi Nath)

I am Khushbhu Kalbeliya (Sapera Jogi Nath), a daughter of the Adivasi Kalbeliya people and the Western world, walking a path that honors both my roots and my responsibilities. Through Adivasi Yoga, I weave together the wisdom of my ancestors with a call to challenge systems of oppression, such as Brahminism, patriarchy, caste apartheid, and colonialism. My work is deeply rooted in the struggles and resilience of my people and guided by a vision of justice, balance, and collective liberation.

My teachings are shaped by years of personal practice, study, and the lived reality of my Kalbeliya family, who face systemic poverty, discrimination, and marginalization. These experiences have taught me that yoga is more than physical practice or personal growthβ€”it is a tool for dismantling oppressive systems and creating spaces of healing and empowerment for all, especially those whose voices have been silenced or have been barred from access and opportunity.

Adivasi Yoga is a sacred space for reflection and co-creation, where we move beyond superficial wellness culture and dogma. Here, I center Dalit Bahujan and Adivasi voices, invite honest dialogue, and challenge the narratives that have marginalized our communities. I believe yoga must be rooted in the ethics of non-harming, truth-telling, and discernment. Looking inward is only part of the practice; the other half is reaching outward to uplift others.

This is my offering to the world: a practice of connection, courage, and care that honors the traditions of my ancestors while walking toward a liberated future.
